The areas of activity of our center include associate, undergraduate and graduate degree programs, courses, seminars and conferences conducted by distance education based on communication and information technologies. Our center mainly engages in the following activities within this scope:
1. To plan all courses, seminars, conferences and similar education programs offered to our university's students and the community through distance education based on communication and information technologies, to follow the development of communication and information technologies required by distance education, to carry out all technical infrastructure works related to distance education, to cooperate with other institutions and organizations providing communication and information services on distance education issues.
- 2. To project and execute the requests of public, private sector, national and international institutions, organizations and individuals for consultancy and cooperation within the scope of distance education together with the relevant units.
- 3. To organize server/client infrastructure related to distance education, communication/interaction planning and applications, student support services, measurement and evaluation studies.
- 4. To contribute to the determination of courses, seminars, conferences and similar education applications, lessons and programs to be given through distance education.
- 5. To ensure the organization of registration, acceptance, examination, success and course passing and similar transactions for courses, seminars, conferences, lessons and programs to be given through distance education.
- 6. To ensure cooperation and coordination with the relevant units to determine the instructors who will take part in teaching activities such as courses, seminars, conferences, lessons and similar to be given through distance education.
- 6. To follow the relevant legislation being implemented on distance education for the regulation of practices within this scope.
- 7. To project and execute the education programs to be given to public and private institutions and individuals through distance education together with the relevant units.
- 8. To carry out other activities proposed by the Rectorate and/or decided by the Center Management Board within the scope of distance education.
- While our center is engaged in the activities mentioned above for distance education, we observantly use relevant tools provided by the internet, other data communication networks, radio, television, telephone and mail, as well as printing, sound, image, computer and technology.
